Getting a Boat Ready for the First Voyage Takes Some Serious
Team Work - 7 different people doing different tasks to pull
off a 9:00 a.m. Maiden Voyage - got done at 2 a.m. & got
up at 4 to finish the job. Many Thanks to Those Who Helped,

twin 50's (Tohatsu's) they ran great - I babied the new on
for the break in process but did open it up to see what my
top speeds were and it looked like about 27 knots with a
pretty heavy load.

In front of the house 9:00 a.m. sharp - wanted to make the
10:30 tunnel over to Whitter and we made it by the skin of
our teath.

Our first sunset at Anchor, Cathy woke me up in the middle
of the night worried that we had slipped anchor. Cathy could
not sleep so I crawled down in the V birth for a few more
hours rest.

Camped in Culrose Passage near Long Bay for the 1st night on
Anchor.

On the edge of Granite Bay, we decided to try out the
inflatable - what fun!

We stopped at a beautiful waterfall and enjoyed the noise
and berry picking. What a super Maiden Voyage!!!!!
