Setting up camp in Hidden Lake Campground.
Law's, Bacon's and Gate's
|
You can tell by this photo that they are a very serious
highly educated group.

Jeremy one upped everyone with the "Taj" tent, large enough
for all of us.
|
Caleb and Drew- fishing buddies
|
We went out on the lake looking for laker's, not much luck
but got into quite a large lightening and thunder
storm.

Caleb fell asleep while we were trolling, but he still held
onto his fishing rod and did not want to let go even when we
tried to pry it out of his hands. He is a fishing
nut.

Sleeping on the cooler.

Heading out to Jackalof Bay from Seldovia, about a 10 mile
drive.
|
Happy Clammers
|
John and Les caught a large Octopus

|
I was thinking (Halibut Bait) but the kids did not like the
idea, so the big dude got a second chance at
life.

|
Pulling up Razor's and Butter Clams, Jackalof Bay is very
beautiful, with Clam Farms on the other side of where we
were.
|
Getting there, these are awesome to eat, all you do is steam
them until they pop open and then dip them in a little
butter... Yum!!!

Hard at work
|
Caleb is a little bored, where are the Fish!
|
Lunch Break
|
This was a new snack for me - Sea Weed with Fish Herring Egs
- it could have used a little salt but it was pretty
tasty.
