Pretty blurry photo, but I wanted to remember driving out at
10:00 at night, we made it to anchorage around 11:15 and it
was about as dark as I want to drive in. The seas were very
good, just a little rough around Pigot Point.
Well, I love my new downrigger, Red Fox would be
proud.
ARG! There she be! just a manual to start but I really enjoy
using it.
My happy troller.
Miss Charity trolling - they picked up a nice halibut as
well.
Cathy looks much better holding a fish than I do.

Brother Joe Law and his wife Ryan just drifting
away.
I know, pretty weird having a Brother with the same name,
but that is another story for another time - To make it easy
we will just call this one DR. Joe.
This is the real fisherman, or as he calls it -
"Shishing"
Caleb now looks at me on the boat and says " I need shore
time" so we try to spend plenty of time on the
beaches.
Ryan in search of Hermie Crabs
Caleb, telling me all about his "Shishing"
success.
Another beautiful King - This will make for some fine smoked
salmon.
Heading up College Fiord - what an amazing time - it is
about a 30 mile drive from Pigot Point and the entire time
there and back we were the only boats.
This was certainly a highlight of the summer, I love dodging
around the bergs and to sit and listen to the calving of
Yale Glacier was a real treat.
I have heard that these bergs can simply flip around at
times, but I could not resist getting on top of one - very
slippery.
Caleb, helping me collect ice for the cooler.
