On the way out met Mike in his 14 foot C-dory, would be nice
to get 10miles per gallon.
Joshua was sleeping, so it was time for Cathy to get her 6
reds - we hit it right, as right after we got our reds they
closed off the good part of the bay.
Caleb's job was to bonk them on the head with "the stick of
pain"
Nice size sockeye, they were dime bright, in fact the
hatchery guy said they had only come in about 2 days
earlier.
Arrg! Sea treasure, this was a great rope, about 3/4 thick
and maybe 200 feet, I am going to wrap it around a tree for
decoration.
Red Fox shows up - he must have heard that we were eating
shrimp.
We camped in a narrow channel with no swing room, so we had
to stern and bow anchor - the weather was so calm it was not
big deal.
You have to kill them first before it is safe to bring them
aboard, but be careful not to overswing through the boat
hull eh!
